Dennis Marden Clark
Dennis Clark is a native of Los Angeles and a long time resident of Seattle. He currently resides in Orem with his wife Valerie and their six children. He holds a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and master's degrees in creative writing, the teaching of English, and library science from the University of Washington. He has served as poetry editor of Sunstone, and has published poetry in Dialogue, Ensign, Poetry Northwest, Exponent II, and Cracroft and Lambert's A Believing People. His short story "Answer to Prayer" was published in Greening Wheat: Fifteen Mormon Short Stories (Orion Books 1983). His series of four articles about Mormon poetry (published in Sunstone) received the Association for Mormon Letters award for criticism in 1989.
