| Laurie Allen Laurie Allen has written short stories published in young adult publications such as HiCall, Alive and Straight. The first play she wrote won first place in the Indian River Players One-Act Play Competition. Several of her plays have been performed at the Gettysburg College of Pennsylvania and at the Globe of the Great Southwest Theatre. Much of her work for teens has been performed at Hood Junior High School in Odessa, Texas. She has had several other collections of scenes and monologues published.
