Personal Statement I have many writing interests, yet something about lives of people from long ago intrigues me. Comparing incidents from the pioneer era to current events provides much food for thought. I discover powerful life lessons as well as light-hearted moments in their experiences. It's fascinating! Another thing I've discovered as I've gotten older is that when I use the talents God has blessed me with, he is better able to guide my footsteps in paths that benefit other's lives as well as enhancing my own.
