Jernigan writes and speaks throughout the country on subjects such as creative writing, journalism, and making a living at freelance writing. In recent years Mr. Jernigan has been involved in promoting the talents of writers and has
formed the American Writers Fellowship with such a purpose in mind. Mr. Jernigan co-authored a book of short stories dealing with love and relationships titled
"This Thing Called Love" with LDS author Susan Evans McCloud.
