| Ann Edwards Cannon
A. E. Cannon's first novel, Cal Cameron by Day, Spider-Man by Night, won the Delacorte Press Prize for an Outstanding First Young Adult Novel. Her next two novels, The Shadow Brothers and Amazing Gracie, were both chosen as Best Books for Young Adults by the American Library Association. Amazing Gracie was also chosen as one of the Best 100 Books of the last Twenty Years by the American Library Association. Charlotte's Rose was a finalist for the 2002 PEN Center Children's Literature award, and received the Association for Mormon Letters 2002 award for Young Adult Fiction. She has also published a collection of humorous essays, two picture books, and a middle-grade reader. Her newest work includes On the Go with Pirate Pete and Pirate Joe (Viking) and Charlotte's Rose (Random House). She currently writes a column for the Deseret News.
