Association for Mormon Letters
The Association for Mormon Letters was formed in 1976 in order to study the literary heritage and contemporary creative writing of the Mormon people. Since that time it has held annual or semi-annual academic conferences where critics have analyzed LDS literary works from many genres. More recently (since 1999) it has also hosted an annual Writers Conference. AML publishes Irreantum, a literary quarterly devoted to Mormon literary expression.
