Omni

Genre:   Periodical
Sub Genres:
Fantasy
Science Fiction
Annotations:
The print version of Omni was a bedsheet-sized publication started by Bob Guccione as a kind of sister magazine to Penthouse. Omni always had a dual personality with respect to its prestige. On the one hand its high circulation, coupled with some outstanding fiction editors, allowed it to attract the cream of the crop in the speculative fiction field. On the other hand, it's concentration on UFOs and the paranormal gave it a reputation as being fairly eccentric.
