Billy, I Love You
by Boyd Richardson
: Envision Books, 2001

Genre:  Novel
Sub Genres:
Historical Fiction
Summary:
Billy and Sherry grew up together in a small town of Tate, Utah. Sherry was a cripple girl, crippled from Polio. As Billy returned from his mission in 1958, he noticed new feelings for Sherry, feelings that he had not noticed before, but feelings that he liked.

It was the earthquake that brought the feelings to the surface-an awful earthquake that both destroyed and united the town. Sherry too noticed the new feelings. She thought that maybe she had found her man, but then Billy accepted an employment offer in the big city of Salt Lake with the Meniro family. As if that wasn't enough to discourage the romance, bungling gangsters mistook Billy for Jon Meniro, the playboy son of his boss, and kidnaped him.

It is a story of love and drama and pure survival. It ends as the same earthquake that brought them together, saves them from the gangsters in a unique way, making a trip to the Logan temple. [from Granite web site]
