It marks a creative milestone in our history.... Since one of the main purposes of the MIA has always been to encourage the development of our powers to create, it has long been the dream of the Drama Committee to publish a volume of all-new work. This year it has been accomplished. Such volumes will be published in the future as often as it is possible to accumulate sufficient manuscripts of the necessary quality," This volume also includes a full-length musical, the first one published in the entire series.
